Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the CargoFide website, the CargoFide mobile app, and related services (together, the “Platform”), operated by Sharprising Multilogistics Pvt. Ltd., a company incorporated under the Companies Act 2013 with its office in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India (“CargoFide”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

The Platform is for businesses and individuals acting in the course of trade, such as exporters, importers, manufacturers, traders, customs brokers and freight forwarders. You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract. If you use the Platform for a company, you confirm you are authorised to bind that company.

• Give accurate information when you register, including your mobile number, email, and company details such as GSTIN and IEC code, and keep it up to date.
• You sign in with a one-time code sent to your WhatsApp number, a code sent to your email, or Google Sign-In. Keep access to these secure; you are responsible for activity on your account.
• Tell us promptly at support@cargofide.com if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

• Rates shown on the Platform are indicative. A rate becomes binding only when the carrier or forwarder confirms space for your booking.
• Submitting a booking is a request for space. It is not confirmed until you receive a confirmation on the Platform, and the confirmed container count or charges may differ from what you requested.
• Carriage of goods is performed by carriers and forwarders under their own terms and bills of lading. CargoFide is not the carrier, and those terms govern the carriage.
• Sailing dates, transit times and cut-offs are set by carriers and can change without notice.

You agree that you will:

• Describe your cargo accurately, including commodity, HS code, weight, and any hazardous, temperature-controlled or restricted nature.
• Hold the licences, permits and registrations your shipments need, and comply with Indian and destination-country customs, export-control and sanctions laws.
• Only upload documents you are entitled to share, and make sure they are accurate.
• Not use the Platform to ship prohibited goods, for fraud, or to break any law.
• Not attempt to access other users’ data, disrupt the Platform, reverse-engineer it, or scrape it by automated means.

Creating an account and viewing rates is free. Freight, local and destination charges for a confirmed booking are payable as set out in your booking confirmation or invoice. CargoFide does not currently process card payments in the app.

The Platform relies on third parties such as carriers, tracking providers, Google Sign-In and WhatsApp. Their services are governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for their availability or accuracy. Tracking and milestone data comes from these sources and may be delayed or incomplete.

The Platform, its software, design and content belong to CargoFide or its licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it for your own business purposes under these Terms. You keep ownership of the data and documents you upload, and you grant us the rights we need to store and process them to provide the Platform.

The Platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranty that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that rates, schedules, tracking or document-analysis results (including automated or AI-assisted checks) are complete or accurate. Check important information before relying on it.

To the extent the law allows, CargoFide is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, or loss of or damage to goods in transit (which is governed by the carrier’s terms). Our total liability arising out of your use of the Platform in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid to CargoFide for the Platform in that period. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms or the law. You may stop using the Platform at any time and ask us to delete your account from the app or at cargofide.com/delete-account. Records we must keep by law are retained as described in our Privacy Policy. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including 8 to 10 and 13, survive it.

We may update these Terms. We will notify registered users of material changes by email or in the Platform before they take effect. Continuing to use the Platform after that means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Mumbai, Maharashtra have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of them.
